Today, I bring you a guest blogger, my very own daughter, Camryn. She will share the poem she wrote to enter in a poetry competition.

Ahem... maestro? (Erm, or is it maestra?)

There is a girl I know.
Her name is Lilly,
and she is very willy nilly.

Now Lilly, you see,
is quite silly.
She'll put a worm in your sandwich
and name it Billy.
She also eats strange things,
like snail slime and noodles,
and even Presidents and poodles!

One day I went to see Lilly
and guess what she was doing?
She was skating on stairs
and fighting with bears!

She asked me to join her;
I said, "Yes!"
and you can guess...
Oh, yes! We got in a ginormous mess!
