I have a very comfy Tempurpedic mattress that I would not trade for all of the tea in China, and I LOVE me some iced tea.
The bedframe itself is a limited edition Kincaid cherry "rice"style, king-sized. It came with a certificate of authenticity and everything. I got a super deal on it about 5 years ago. We paid $400 for it new. A steal, I tell you.
I put high thread count, 100% cotton sheets on my bed in the summer time (no polyester blends on my bed!) I love climbing in between cool cotton sheets on a warm night.
I put cotton flannel sheets on the bed when it gets cool outside. I love a warm toasty bed in the winter.
When I climb into my bed at night, I just feel a release. I love getting into bed.
I love to read in bed. Sometimes when I have nothing else to do (which is rare!) I climb into my bed in the middle of the day and read. More often than not, I fall asleep doing that. Nothing beats a mid-afternoon nap. I also read myself to sleep at night a lot.
I have to make my bed when I get out of it. I don't like an unmade bed. I did leave it unmade all day yesterday, which is not at all like me. But I felt like leaving it unmade. I just couldn't bring myself to fix the bed.
I love my bed. I'd live in it if I could.
