Hair today...

I found a 1" long hair on the back of my right knee yesterday. I've been wearing shorts pretty consistently since late April, plus I walked around the beach for 4 days with that monstrous hair hanging off the back of my knee. Yick. (Yeah, right. I'm sure no one noticed, but STILL. Yick!)

In other news, I started the potty training process with 2 1/2 year-old Lillian this week. She's been wearing (and mostly keeping dry!) her new Dora panties. Her siblings have been like her little cheerleading squad, so she's getting lots of positive feedback for her efforts.

However, she's been in a sugar coma just about every day due to the "potty candy" prize she gets for..... erm..... "producing". I've been using "old" Halloween candy as her prizes, so the candies have been medium-sized. I need to switch to Skittles or M&Ms or jelly beans before she contracts Juvenile Diabetes. The kid loves the sweets!

Once Lillian is in underwear for good, I won't have any more diapers to change! That will be a momentous occasion, because I've been changing diapers consistently since 1998 except for one week when I left the two youngest kids with my parents and took the two oldest to Disney World (and various weekends away with my honey, of course!) That's almost a decade of changing poop and pee. Wow.
