June 15, 2007

My summer life is kind of lame.

Today, I slept late (well, until 8 am, which *is* as late as I can get around here!)

I made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast (at Aiden's request).

I did a couple of loads of laundry (sheets).

I copied down recipes from a couple of great cookbooks I got from the library yesterday (Maya Angelou's Hallelujah! The Welcome Table: A Lifetime of Memories with Recipes and the Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook: Feasting with Your Slow Cooker ).

I made tilapia and rice for lunch (which beats yesterday's Lunchable feast by 10 freakin' light years!)

I took a short nap. Under my favorite heavy Coca Cola blanket. On my couch.

I played Webkinz (did I mention that I bought my own frog, whom I named Doc Hopper, and opened my own account?!?)

Now I'm sittin' here on the couch watching Bob Barker's last time hosting "The Price is Right". When that's over, I'll be sitting here watching "THE 34th ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS". Woo. Hoo.

See? I told you. Totally lame!

Totally comfortable.

Totally what I love.
